spiritual support for everyday seekers

hand-crafted rituals for memorable ceremonies

heart-centered healing for helping professionals

Welcome

My name is Emily. My work supports people to slow down, listen deeply, access inner wisdom, and sustain joy.

I support healers, therapists, clergy, parents, community leaders, and people holding space for others to thrive in this messy, complex, painful and beautiful world.

Emily Webb M.Div

Together, so much is possible.

Does anyone really know what is going to happen next Tuesday? I absolutely do not. I do know that humor and humility can be our guides, and it can help to have someone rooting for you, someone on your team.

Whatever you are facing, you do not have to face alone.

My work supports people to access inner resources to sustain themselves & live with more joy & authenticity.

I have been a part of movements for racial, environmental, economic, gender and queer justice for more than twenty years.

For the last fifteen years I have served people in healthcare, faith communities and as a community organizer.

I am a working mom with a big heart and an often too-long to-do list.

My professional training is as a community organizer and hospice chaplain. I have been an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister since 2014.

I have a completed a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology & Sociology from Lewis and Clark College in 2007, and Masters of Divinity from Starr King School for the Ministry in 2014.

In 2021, I was one of four chaplains selected as part of the CIIS graduate certificate program in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research from the California Institute for Integral Studies.

I strive to walk my talk; the methods I use with people seeking support are the same tools have been profound and useful in my own spiritual and life journey.

These are the same practices that sustain and ground me today.

I invite you to explore the various sections of this site for more about my offerings, teachers, writings and inspirations.

My work is grounded in interdisciplinary resources that come from a wide range of sources. I believe it is important to honor and name the teachers and lineages who I have learned from. More about this here.

If you are interested in a conversation with me about my offerings or inviting me to speak to your community, please reach out and let’s find a time to chat.

“Thank you for the lovely celebration of life service that you officiated. Your gentle and kind presence was a mirror of the essence of my friend who passed. I thank you from the depths of my heart for making the ritual perfect.”

    – Sharon B.

“I listened to your MLK Sunday sermon and was blown away--both your message and also by your voice. You have so clearly stepped into the spiritual role you were meant for. I am so awed by your wisdom and the way you share it with others. So, so impressed with the risks you have taken, are taking. You encourage me both with words and your example. Thank you.”

    – M. G.

“Your very evident compassion provided a beacon for me on my sometimes murky and continually evolving spiritual journey. It's a joy to spend time and learn with you.”

    – Julie B.

My ancestors were European settlers, and I now live on Huchiun land, part of unceded Lisjan territory (Berkeley/Oakland, California). I contribute monthly the Sogorea Te’ Land Trust and encourage other white/European-descent folks to engage in financial reparations to indigenous communities.
